Pre-Kindergarten Program
Lebanon Christian Academy has been offering quality Christian education since 1978. We currently offer grades K4 through 12th. Our Pre-Kindergarten Program offers a comfortable, safe, and nurturing atmosphere. Since your child’s first years of school are foundational, the care of your child is of utmost importance to the faculty of LCA.
In order for your child to achieve his/her full potential, our teachers will work to establish a strong relationship with your family to build a healthy and positive environment for your child’s learning. Parental involvement is encouraged. Our faculty will assess the classroom and adjust as needed to meet the needs of your child.
Instruction at this level of learning is achieved by play, hands on activities, and interactive material. Our curriculum encourages learning awareness with a well-balanced structure that develops learning in all areas. Standards are set to provide physical growth, cognitive development, and social skills.
General Information
For Pre-Kindergarten children 4 years of age
Must be 4 years old by September 1st of the current school year
Must be potty trained
Classes meet 8:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday
Follow LCA’s school calendar to know when school is in session
Partial day attendance is optional - see options under "admission"
After school care is available through 5:00 pm
Sample Daily Schedule
7:30 - 8:00 - Arrival (play with toys or at centers)
8:00 - Welcome, Calendar, Weather, and Bible Time
8:25 - Restroom break
8:35 - Centers (small groups)
9:00 - Language Arts/ Pre-reading / Math
9:30 - Small groups / Centers
9:55 - Snacks
10:30 - Restroom/ Recess
11:15 - Learning time review/ Class jobs
11:30 - Circle time / Story time
12:00 - Partial Day Dismissal / Lunch time
12:30 - Recess
1:00 - Nap
2:30 - Dismissal

After-School Care
After-School Care is available Mondays-Fridays from 2:30 pm - 5:00 pm except on noon dismissal days. No signup is necessary, all students not picked up during dismissal will be sent to after-school care. The cost is $10.00/day, per student, and it will be added to your tuition statement at the end of each month. Call the office when picking up students. ((717) 273-8114)
Lunch
Lebanon Christian Academy offers hot lunches every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. You can view the current lunch menu here.
Please Note, if you selected partial day dismissal, your child will be dismissed before lunchtime.
